The Company’s three ‘FDS’ configured BO105S twin-engine helicopters based in Miri, Sibu and Kuching respectively, visit up to 100 rural settlements throughout Sarawak’s Interior every month with the FDS Teams, each comprising of four Medical Personnel, in accordance with an FDS Schedule published by the Sarawak Health Department (JKNS). The communities visited have no ready access to medical facilities or professional healthcare, and the FDS plays a critical humanitarian role within the overall rural healthcare programme provided by the Ministry of Health. From Oct '09 to Sep '14, the FDS helicopters made 4,635 visits to Sarawak's Interior settlements.

In Sarawak, FDS Teams are based at Kuching, Sri Amman, Sarikei, Daro, Mukah, Sibu, Kapit, Belaga, Bintulu, Miri, and Limbang and provide a wide range of medical care to the rural communities within their specific region, including: health screening and monitoring; drug administering & prescription, vaccination and immunisation; malaria treatment and prevention; sanitation and childcare education; and medical evacuation of seriously ill patients as required. In addition to carriage of FDS Teams for performance of Medical Clinics, our Company is also tasked to deliver vital medicines to Clinics in the Interior, and the excellent stowage capacity of our Eurocopter BO105S twin-engine helicopters makes them ideally suited for this purpose, often carrying in excess of 300kg of medical supplies.

In Sabah, the Company was sub-contracted for several years to provide its BO105S helicopter to perform FDS duties on behalf of the Sabah Health Department.
